Les Matthews is Executive Vice President and the Head of Services for North America at Mastercard where he has worked for the last 14+ years. Mastercard’s services business includes both Data & Services and Cyber and Intelligence with the goal of helping Mastercard partners secure, optimize and manage to better outcomes. Prior to this role he led a team responsible for managing relationships for all Regional Banks in the US with the goal of helping to define and set strategies that grow the business in a mutually beneficial way. Les has had several other roles at Mastercard including 3 years based in Silicon Valley and responsible for managing relationships with all US based Digital Partners and Tech Firms including Amazon, Facebook, Google, Apple, PayPal, Lyft and more. Before joining MasterCard Les served in increasingly senior roles for Washington Mutual, Bank of America and American Express developing innovative product and marketing strategies designed to increase revenues for the payments business. He proudly holds a BA in psychology and MBA in marketing from Clark Atlanta University.
