Prior to Verifone, Chackan spent two decades at Visa, where he played a central role in major industry transformations including the U.S. EMV migration, the launch of Visa Token Service, and authored several Visa Ecosystem Security Standards which eventually became PCI standards. He also served as Visa’s representative on the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) Executive Committee, actively contributing to the evolution of global payment security standards.
